Authorization highlights advanced technical expertise and strengthens collaboration with Epic’s global ecosystem
Recife – Brazil, September 9th, 2025 – Kokku has been officially named an Unreal Engine Service Partner, joining the highly selective group recognized by Epic Games. In 2025, just over 100 companies worldwide are included in the Unreal Service Partner Directory, authorized for delivering best-in-class technical support, implementation, and co-development services using Unreal Engine. Among gaming service providers, the list is even more restricted: around 35 authorized studios.
Kokku has received the Silver badge, which validates the company’s deep experience with Unreal Engine across diverse platforms and project scopes, including AAA/AA games, simulations, real-time applications, and interactive environments.
“This is a solid recognition of something the industry already knew: our high standards in developing projects with Unreal Engine and being pioneers in Brazil using Unreal back when no one was really exploring the engine”, justifies Thiago de Freitas, Kokku’s CEO. According to him, being listed as one of the badged companies also reinforces to both Kokku’s long-term and new partners the level of commitment the company brings to their projects: “They can feel confident knowing they’re supported by a partner trusted by the creators of the very engine they rely on. The evaluation process included a detailed analysis of recent project showcases where Unreal was used by Kokku’s art, creative, and engineering teams. The result affirms the studio’s capacity to support partners with optimized pipelines and custom tool development. The studio CTO, Manoel Neto, highlights: “Our experience working with our clients on a variety of Unreal Engine powered projects, from consoles to mobile and from indie to AAA certainly was key. But even more important is our culture of working as partners who care about our clients’ products, instead of being simple service providers.”
In addition to joining the directory of Unreal Engine Service Partners, as part of the program, Kokku will collaborate with Epic in technical assistance and Unreal Developer Network (UDN) support, contributing to the broader Unreal Engine ecosystem through knowledge sharing and expert implementation. “It validates our work and efforts in everything Unreal related to other companies and the game development community”, affirms Neto.
On top of this, Kokku gains access to exclusive Epic professional training programs, including live and blended learning options tailored to each team’s needs. These resources accelerate skill development, improve performance with Unreal tools, and ensure the team stays current with technologies and other advanced engine features. Being part of communities and forums geared toward authorized partners also reinforces the learning environment and continuing education.
